The Transformation

It is perhaps one of the toughest transitions for every saint, to move to the mind of Christ and out of the mind of our human soul (that analytical outer layer of thinking). Perhaps because the soul is not something to be cast out, trodden underfoot, warred against. It is part of you and it will be to the day you die. But it must be brought into subjection to the Spirit of Christ that lives in you. His voice must be the stronger one in you, and the default for those who would walk in the Spirit. The soul is that part of us to whom there is a way that seems right to but in the end leads to death:

Pro 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

For those who have not bowed before the lordship of Jesus Christ, it is that soul man that they look too, or counsel from the kingdom of darkness and the demonic (though they would call it something else, but for those with their eyes open they understand). The kings of the earth trust their collective souls and the energies of the demonic to grant them solutions to their problems, power and immortality. However, they will all find that their kingdoms in the end will be true to the vision of Daniel:

Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

It is a warning to all, especially the elite in the eyes of the world to realize their position in the eyes of the Lord of all.

Psa 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

As for us, followers of Christ Jesus, we must persist on the path. There are stages in this thing and each one is a blessing if you press on and press through. Realize that the world around you will melt down more any more but if you press through with Christ you have peace amidst the storm in all that takes place in the days to come. Do not be dismayed when the world around you looks like this:

For these things MUST come in the days ahead as we progress and all is fulfilled.

Mens' hearts will fail them when they see all that is coming on the earth in the days ahead. Men who do not know, do not trust and do not walk with the Lord.

Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. (Prov 3:5-6) He will direct you and lead you into a way where you learn to walk in spirit and not your soul or your flesh. The flesh is more obvious than the soul, but both need to be brought under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our place is to submit our will to His and to trust Him. He knows what He is doing with us. Amidst the turmoil there is life, peace and provision for His people.

Blessings in Christ,
