Expect the Unexpected

It is a fallacy of the religion of Christianity (not to be confused with the real relationship with God, they are SOOOOoooo different); there is no romance in their system, no adventure, no abundant life. No expectation for anything more than success in the world to which they have submitted themselves too. Success in the world is considered by the sellouts to the system to be the blessing of God ... yikes.

It's not about that. If you have a lot, fine. If you don't have much, fine. It doesn't matter. What does matter is where you are with your Creator. Do you know Him? Do you walk with Him? Or do you rely on others to tell you that you are O.K.? When you have a problem that comes up in your life, where do you go first? Who do you run too? ... hmm.

People of God learn to expect the unexpected. There are wonderful treasures for us that unfold in the journey as we walk with Him. It is a really nice bonus to the abundant life that we have in Him. It keeps things exciting, fun, adventurous. You never know what is around the next turn but you look forward to it because you know that it is part of the journey.

Gosh, why are the people of God so afraid? Why do they sit back just watching life pass them by? Why are the promises of God to so many something that is debated, studied, rationalized ... and NEVER lived! He made you to LIVE, so get out there and LIVE! (LIVE Damn it, LIVE! :-) How do you do that? Well to start with you need to take Him at His Word. If you don't believe what He said you'll just stop right there in your tracks and never take another step. If you don't believe that He is able to provide for you, protect you, direct you, meet the needs of your heart ... well, you'll just end up looking back to Egypt or Sodom for what it is that you left behind after you took a few steps out of the world and it's broken system.

It's not easy my friends. Your faith is meant to be tested! It is meant to be something that is shown to be what it truly is. It is meant to be refined in the fire of battle and the experiences of life as you walk with Him. You just keep holding on to Him and He will take you through. And he will lead you ... He will lead you even into the Valley of the Shadow of Death (Ps 24) but you need not fear any evil for He is most certainly with you. Why wouldn't He be? He took you there, and He will take you through too. You'll come to the other side with and amazing testimony and a rock solid faith and trust that surely He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly past anything you can expect or think. You need to Trust Him. Not some time in the future, you need to trust Him NOW! You need to believe that He is who He said He is and get on with it.

How do you get on with it? Well, what was the last thing that He told you to do? Start with that. Go, do it now.

In Christ,
