Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps ...

... We might turn around. Give up. Throw in the towel. Call it quits. Give up the ghost. After all, who can make war against the Beast? Who can oppose what we are surrounded by; that which seems to grow stronger by the day.

Maybe if they just throw one more log into the fiery furnace you'll melt with fear and bow your knee. Most have and many will. What about you?

1 John 2:15-17

Friends. It is not easy. But it is simple. Bow your knee to the Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ. And stay at His feet every day of your life. You only get up to fulfill the instructions He gives you, but at His feet is your resting place. Your default point. Your reset button amidst the challenges and trials of life.

It is at His feet that you receive His Rhema, your daily bread. He feeds you, comforts you, provides for you and the needs of your soul. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength (Isa 40:31).

Mount up sir eagle and fly. Fly madame eagle, sour above the storms of life. Let the winds of the Spirit of God carry you above it all. In order to fly you have to first learn to kneel.

We bow only to Him. We serve only Him. We worship only Him. We have no other God. We need nothing else but Jesus. He is enough to satisfy the needs and the desires of your soul.

Pain will come on this journey. Suffering is a companion of the follower of Christ during their journey through this life. But if you allow the Spirit of God to work in you and to change your heart, pain won't hurt you. Yes, it might sting, but it can do no real harm in the end. It just becomes part of the process we go through and what God uses to shape us into what He would have us to be.

Just as the sharp chisel cuts into the rock sculpture being shaped under the master's hand, so we experience pain. It's o.k. It'll be o.k. Consider it pure joy when you face and experience these things. God knows what He is doing with you.

Many times God actually sends His people into situations on purpose where we will encounter suffering. Just look at the life of Jesus. But God was there in it all, working out a plan and a purpose that would change the world. Thank God Jesus wasn't thinking about His own comfort when He walked through His journey of life. Nor should we.

Trust. Obey. Follow Him. Let the rest be what it is. You just keep walking with Jesus.

In Christ,

The faithmix Team
